Christian has just finished shooting “El jugador de ajedrez” (‘The chess player’) in Budapest and The Canary Islands, directed by Luís Oliveros (El ángel de Budapest /The angel of Budapest; Pata Negra /Black Leg).
This feature film tells the story of a Spanish chess master, David, who escapes from Spain to France during World War II. David, who is made prisoner by the Germans in occupied Paris, tries to save himself by exploiting the commanding SS officer’s passion for chess. Christian plays the role of ‘SS Officer Harnsberger’.
